Prayer Update #4 ~ ". . . as He Witnessed the Grace of God . . . "

[originally posted 27 Jul 2022]

“When Barnabas arrived in Antioch, he rejoiced as he witnessed the grace of God, and he exhorted them all that they should remain faithful to the Lord Jesus with steadfast purpose of heart.”
Acts 11:23
As I anticipated and prepared to come to Uganda, I prayed that God would give me the spirit of Barnabas to encourage and strengthen the faith of my dear sisters and brothers in Christ.
Now that I have been in their midst, especially these past three days, the Lord Jesus has given me the blessings of Barnabas both to witness the grace of God so abundantly present in their hearts and lives, and to rejoice with them in praise and worship of Christ who unites us with one another in Him.
You may catch a glimpse of that very rejoicing in the wondrous singing to and praising of God by clicking this link and watching here:
You also may listen to portions of the conference teaching sessions, the first on the relationship God has designed for the husband and wife in marriage, by clicking this link:
And the beginning of a later session on the topic of God’s calling on husbands and wives to love one another, at this link:
These many blessings are a result of God’s grace flowing to us and through us as you are faithfully supporting our ministry of encouragement through God’s Word by your ongoing prayers. I thank God for your partnership in this Gospel ministry.
Please feel free to send me any questions you may have about God’s work here in Uganda and my experiences as I am learning from and seeking to strengthen the faith of these dear fellow sisters and brothers in Christ.
Please continue to pray as our first conference will be concluding on Thursday afternoon and a second conference with another 20 pastors and their spouses will begin this coming Monday.
grace and peace for this day,
cordell
